Spring Card Design Ideas
Mix your colors, patterns, and textures to create clean and simple spring cards. Today’s featured cardstock is Canvas Textured Seafoam Green Discount cardstock from CutCardstock.
Using the Altenew Mix and Match Mariposa Die Set, I cut several butterflies from the seafoam green cardstock. I loved this color so much that I made matching envelopes after I took photos. Such a pretty color!
When choosing a Spring color palette I typically think of pastels and soft colors. I used Simon Says Stamp Stone Dye Ink, Altenew Sunray, Pale Mauve, Pink Diamond, and Mountain Mist Crisp Dye Ink.
Dina Wakley Circle Patterns, an older stamp set, provided the perfect backdrop for those lovely butterflies. Whether you use a stamp positioner or acrylic block, these red rubber cling stamps produce beautiful crisp images.
The sentiments are from Altenew Circled Sentiments Stamp Set and Altenew Script Words 3 Die Set. Sweet was die-cut from Fruit Punch Discount Cardstock which has a pearlized textured finish. I popped the die-cut up on pink sticky back fun foam.
Lastly, I added a few sequins and called it done. I hope these sweet Spring cards made you smile. Thanks for stopping by and I’ll be back soon!
