Is That A Gift Card?
Make your card a gift card with the stencil from The Hedgehog Hollow October 2019 kit. This kit has everything you need for lots of holiday cards, from Santa, snowmen, snowflakes, and an exclusive interactive die!
I’m keeping the design and supplies minimal for this two-card set. Cards using the interactive die will be coming soon, so stay tuned!
Before applying the stencil, I masked the card front with Purple Tape to create a gift package look. I then adhered the stencil with tape and ink blended with Ranger Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink.
I love how the pink pops on the red cardstock. For a tone on tone look, ink bend clear embossing ink or red ink. Initially, I created red and blue versions, but I didn’t like the blue, so I opted for atypical green snowflakes on white cardstock.
Finishing Touches
I wrapped the gift card fronts with red baker’s twine and added embossed tags to complete the gift package look. There are loads of sentiments to choose from. I kept it simple on these small tags.
Next, I drew snowflake details with a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen.
And that’s a wrap, ba-dum-bump! Thanks so much for joining me today and I’ll see you next week with more inspiration for the October 2019 Hedgehog Hollow box.
Thank you for showing off my stencil so beautifully! I’ve been an admirer of your work for a long time and couldn’t be happier that you work with hhh too! I hope you get inspired to work with the silhouette stamps in these sets as well as I know you would create a mind blowing project with your experience! Have fun!
OMG! I didn’t know you designed those, Tammy! That is so exciting and I’m thrilled you like my cards. 🤗 Ooh, I will definitely use the silhouettes soon. Thanks so much for your awesome stencil!
