Woven Stripes & Modern Hello

I love the graphic look of Woven Stripes Background Stamps. It’s fabulous in black and white and equally appealing in soft distressed tones. To create this soft distressed look remove some ink from the stamp before stamping and overlay the background panel with a deli paper gel print.

Altenew Mixed Media Ink 5 Ways

In a previous video, I used deli paper to clean off my 5 x 7 gel plate. These are not waste sheets! While they may not look like much on their own, they’re magical when layered and collaged. Here you can see the Woven Stripes background peeking through the gel-printed deli paper.

Altenew Modern Hello | Layer Altenew Mixed Media Ink 5 Ways

Check out this clever Hello Friend sentiment from the new Modern Hello Stamp Set. The words were surprisingly easy to layer with the new Glacier Caves Mixed Media and Obsidian Pigment Inks.

Rosy 3D Embossing Folder

Embossing folders can be used in so many ways, white on white, loads of color, as a focal point, background, etc. What’s your favorite way to use 3D Embossing Folders? Here I chose to color the background with ink to folder techniques. And as for the blooms, a bit of finger painting and swinging did the trick.
