Altenew Guest Designer + Giveaway

Hey, guys! I can’t tell you how thrilled and grateful I am to be the featured Guest Designer on the Altenew Card Blog and YouTube channel this month. Yay!

Altenew Guest Designer | Fantastic Floral Fantasies

All the details are over on Altenew Card Blog, but I’ll share project photos here too. My video is up on the Altenew YouTube channel. You can watch it here or in HD on YouTube.

I had the pleasure of using the Altenew Fantastic Floral Fantasies Creativity Kit for my guest design feature. This kit is well rounded with the Floral Fantasy Stamp & Die Bundle, Fantasy Floral 3D Die Set, and More Than Words Stamp Set. Due to its beauty, this kit is very popular, so get yours before it’s gone.

Fantasy Floral Twofer

Fantasy Floral Die Set & Verdant Walk 6x6 Paper Pack

In addition to the Creativity Kit, I also used the Verdant Walk 6×6 Paper Pack, Watercolor 36 Pan Set, and Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set.

Altenew plans their guest spots well in advance, so I created these projects in November 2018. Otherwise, I’m certain I would have added the new Artists’ Watercolor set too!

Close Up Fantasy Floral Die Set

You know I love to create a twofer set anytime I use pattern paper, so that’s exactly what I did!

Dreamy Watercolor Tag

It’s a twofer plus a tag! I was able to create a tag with the leftover watercolor panel I created for the 3D die cards.

Check out the soft color on that bloom! That was layer stamped with only two colors, Soft Lilac and Mountain Mist. So out of character for me, but I love it!

Simply Amazing Card

Layer stamped Floral Fantasy blooms create the focal point of this card. I used Tea Party Crisp Dye Inks to create flowers with different saturation points.

A bit of direct to paper inking created a quick background for this simple card. That’s a wrap, guys. Please head on over to the Altenew Card Blog for the featured post and video.

Thank your for the paper pack ideas. I picked up a couple different packs and don’t quite know how to incorporate then into a card. I like the side strip and backing. You know I can’t stand to toss the scraps, so I’m with you on making two cards. Never used a 3-D die or made a tag, so now I have a few more goals.
