All the details to create this boutique-style watercolor card are in my video. Watch it here or in HD on YouTube. Be sure to like and subscribe if you haven’t already.
Breezy Bouquet Stamp Set
Breezy Bouquet Stamp Set is a clever stamp set! The linework on the paper wrap isn’t complete so you can easily stamp the bouquet without masking. Yaas! I love it when Altenew simplifies our crafting!!
Even though my bouquet and paper wrap is stamped directly on watercolor paper, the die-cut tag adds just enough dimension to make the whole arrangement pop off the page. That’s an excellent added detail and I even tied mine with some black thread.
I painted the images with Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set. For the background, I painted soft vertical stripes with Mountain Mist. Lastly, I covered the flowers with Wink of Stella. What do you think?
It’s a Feast Stamp Set
It’s a Feast Stamp Set is perfect for celebrations throughout the year! When choosing what sets to purchase, I always look for sets like this that can be used year-round.
The background panel was created by blending a light layer of Mountain Mist Crisp Dye Ink over the Diamond Snowflakes Stencil. Next, I stamped the large laden table and colored it up with Altenew Artist Markers in Rose Petal, Tropical Forest, Sea Shores, and Warm Gray.
Poppy Garden Stamp Set
Poppy Garden Stamp Set is chock-full of gorgeous blooms ready for your favorite coloring medium. These little buds were calling to me.
First, I ink blended Mountain Mist over a circle mask and Altenew Halftone Stencil. Next, I stamped the little buds in Permanent Black Ink and colored them with Rose Petal and Tropical Forest Artist Markers.
To finish this simple card, I die cut the thin hello sentiment from Handwritten Hello Die Set and stamped a sub-sentiment from Poppy Garden.
That’s a wrap, guys! Thank you for hopping along with us and to Altenew for inviting me to guest design this month. Give me a shout out down below to enter the giveaway.

Beautiful! I love the soft subtle details in the background against the beautiful florals!
Gorgeous cards, LOVE the Breezy Bouquet fine lines AND no need for masking! The Feast is so fun and love your color combo, and your watercoloring on the bouquet is so pretty. I need to show restraint too with water coloring too much – it helps me to have another image to color and then sometimes I can leave the image with less coloring.
That’s a good plan, Melissa!! Thanks!!
Beautiful set of cards! The feast one is so fun 🙂
Such beautiful cards! Such talent, thanks for sharing!
