Irresistible Inking

The Irresistible Inking class just screamed rainbows to me. This simple card uses only 1 stamp, a rainbow array of Altenew Crisp Dye Inks, and a couple of sentiments to round it off.

Inking Technique with Altenew Watercolor Frames Stamp Set

Arches Cold Press Watercolor paper produced a wonderful canvas for the Altenew inks to blend. I was surprised by the intense, bright, saturation of color. I inked up a stamp from Altenew Watercolor Frames Stamp Set, sprayed it with a bit of water, and stamped away down the center of the panel.

The panel was cut down to A2 size with a stitched rectangle die. I die cut “you” from silver mirror cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Big You Craft Die. Celebrate, from Altenew Label Love, was stamped in black ink and clear heat embossed.

Lastly, clear drops were added for accents. These are always a nice touch on a watercolor card. This is my 10th submission for Altenew Educator Certification Academy. Thanks for stopping by. Breathe · Ink · Inspire
