COVID-19 Response Fund for Feeding America

The initial goal of the Peony Bliss Stamp Set release was to celebrate Kraftgali’s 3rd Anniversary. However, Princy Agrawal, from Kraftgali.com feels this is the perfect opportunity to give back to the community.

50% of all profits made from our store kraftgali.com through April 1-15 would be donated to COVID-19 Response Fund for Feeding America. With school closures, job disruptions, and health risks, millions of Americans will turn to food banks for much-needed support. They can’t do it alone and you can help.

Copic Peony Bliss

Of course, my first inclination was to Copic color this gorgeous Peony Bliss Stamp Set.

Copic Color Kraftgali Peony Bliss

Copic Markers

Red flower | R21, R22, R24, R29
Yellow flower |Y21, Y26, YR24, E19
Leaves | BG90, BG93, BG96, BG99
Buds | BG75, BG72
Stripes | BG70

Copic color Altenew Classy Stripes Stencil

I used Copic marker BG70 through Altenew Classy Stripes Stencil to create the background. I’d never used Copics like this with a stencil and I love the result!

No-Line Watercolor Peony Bliss

Ooh, this no-line watercolor card was so fun to paint! Normally I use rough watercolor paper, but it can be challenging to stamp. So I gave Saunders Waterford High White Hot Press paper a whirl.

Watercolor Peony Bliss

The Letter Sparrow handmade watercolor pigments moved beautifully on this hot press paper. Stamping was a breeze with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

Letter Sparrow Watercolor

I used a wet on wet technique, filling the petals with water, dropping pigment at the base of the petals, and letting it fade to white. You have to see how the pigments move in the video. Amazing!

Easy watercolor peony

I watercolored with French Red, Nitroso Green, and Mayan Turquoise.

Gold Foil Peony Bliss

You’ve seen bright Copics and muted watercolor, how about a monochromatic gold foil card?

WOW! Fab Foil Peony Bliss

I haven’t foiled much, but I wanted to give WOW! Bright Gold Fab Foil and WOW! Bonding Powder a try. Stamp your image with embossing ink as you normally would, sprinkle on the bonding powder, heat emboss, and immediately press the foil over the embossed image.

Altenew Golden Stream Washi Tape

For best results, run your heat embossed and foil-covered panel through a die cutting machine to ensure the foil is bonded to the powder. The machine’s even pressure will help create a clean crisp image.

WOW! Fab Foil Peony Bliss

Look how shiny the gold foil is in the light! The image is stamped on Altenew Spicy Yogurt and popped up on fun foam. The base is covered with 5 strips of Altenew Golden Stream Washi Tape to add a bit more gold.

That’s all the card designs. I hope you’ll consider supporting the COVID-19 Response Fund to Feed America by shopping at Kraftgali.com from April 1-15, 2020. Kraftgali stocks many of your favorite brands including WOW! and Altenew, so do check them out.

Huge thanks to Kraftgali for inviting me to collaborate with them!! Thanks so much for stopping by and I’ll see you soon with more inspiration.
