What is Altenew Color Connection with Amber?

Altenew Color Connection with Amber is a video series on the Altenew YouTube channel. Each month I will post 2 video tutorials creating projects with the current month’s Altenew Inspiration Challenge color palette. You know I love to play with color, so this is a great fit for me!

Twenty-four hours after posting the videos on Altenew, I’ll post the videos on my YouTube channel.

We’ll have tons of fun exploring Altenew’s color-coordinated mediums such as watercolor pans, Watercolor Brush Markers, Artist Markers, Crisp Dye Inks, paper packs, washi tape, and more.

Sharing is caring! When you watch our videos, if you love it, learned something from it, feel inspired to create, or simply appreciate the time and effort we put into creating the content, please interact with us!

You can do this in a number of ways, commenting, liking, subscribing if you haven’t already, ringing the bell, and sharing our content.

We want to hear from you! It’s so helpful to know what actually inspired you about a card or technique. It helps us hone in on great content and turns a solitary activity into a crafty party with friends!

On the business end, all social media platforms have algorithms and it’s not just the number of views that count. Interactions like the ones above tell YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc. to share our content with more viewers.

Some of the bells and whistles of social media are not available to content creators until they hit a certain number of viewers or watch hours.

Like being able to swipe up on an Instagram Story to go directly to a link, 10K followers needed. Or being able to monetize on YouTube, 1,000 followers and 4,000 watch hours in the last 12 months.

I know it’s unseemly to talk dollars, but each month, the cost of web hosting, LinkDeli services, content schedulers, craft supplies, and other fees associated with blogging and creating new content add up.

In addition to engaging, using affiliate links is a fabulous way to support artists. Affiliate links are zero cost to you while and the artist receives a small commission from the sale of items that inspired you.
