Welcome to the Altenew Summer Fun Release Video Hop! I’m so excited to share three Courageous You watercolor cards. This stamp is HUGE and absolutely a must-have!

Since this is a video hop, I will share some product and project details here but the real hop is happening on YouTube.

Aside from background stamps, I think Courageous You might be Altenew’s largest floral stamp and it’s gorgeous! Mixed Media Inks

Our mixed media ink is pigment ink with a foam pad. Use Mixed Media Ink on a variety of porous surfaces such as paper, fabric, wood, and more! The pigment ink becomes permanent once heat-set with a heat tool or iron. Altenew mixed media ink is acid-free and archival.

Courageous You Stamp Set

Courageous You Stamp Set is just too pretty for words. The large size is perfect to quickly watercolor a 6×9 panel and create several cards.

Ombre watercolor background

Create an ombre background with Sea Shore Altenew Artists Watercolor. It is important to keep the leading edge wet to prevent harsh lines from forming. Set the panel aside to air dry completely before painting the flowers and leaves.

Paint the flowers with Cherry Blossom and the leaves with Green Fields and Green Meadows. Set aside to air dry completely before cutting the panel. Air dry results in less warping as compared to heat drying.

Altenew Courageous You Stamp Set

I cut the 6×9 watercolor panel into three sections. One 3×8-inch panel and two 3×4.25-inch panels. Sticky back fun foam popped up the panels on a slimline card base measuring 3.5×8.5-inches and two 4.25×5.5-inch card bases.

Two of the cards are finished with sentiments stamped in Obsidian Ink and Satin Gold Sequins. The other card is completed with a Circled Greetings: Hello die-cut sentiment.

No-Line Watercolor

If you prefer no-line watercolor, this video/post has some great tips.

The style of Statement Flowers Stamp Set is similar to Courageous You and the techniques will translate well.
