Pastel Chic Autumn Leaves
Grape Leaves Stamp Set
It was the product insert that accompanied the Grape Leaves Stamp Set that inspired me to create some soft pastel Autumn leaves. Last time I created Fall leaves they were dark earth tones.
This 6×8 stamp set includes an outline stamp and solid stamp for three different leaf images. However, you can still achieve multi-colored leaves with one solid stamp layer. Simply stamp with multiple colors!
To create mulit-colored leaves, I stamped solid images with Mountain Mist, Sea Glass, & Frayed Leaf Crisp Dye Inks. Next, I partially inked the images with Soft Lilac and Cotton Candy Crisp Dye Inks.

The leaf frame and sentiment are from Autumn Bounty Stamp Set. I stamped the frame with gray ink and clear heat embossed on vellum.
Leaf Mix Die Set
Not a fan of pastels? Looking for traditional Earth tones? No worries!
Check out these rich Autumn Festival Leaf Mix Die cards.
Amazing Pastel Chic Pumpkin
Autumn Bounty Stamp Set
Of course, I had to color up this sweet pumpkin flower arrangement like the pastel chic pumpkin decor you see in the shops. It was an odd combination of markers and turned out better than I imagined!
Artist Marker Color Combination

Frayed Leaf, Sea Glass, Mountain Mist, Blush, & Morning Frost
Pumpkin Stem
Limestone, Morning Frost, & Blush

Simple Pastel Stamp Layering
Postive Vibes Stamp Set
After all that coloring, I moved back to simple pastel stamp layering with Positive Vibes Stamp Set.
I absolutely love pre-arranged floral layering stamps. Anytime I can avoid the extra step of masking I’m game. Who’s with me?! We’re keeping the same pastel color palette going with coordinating Crisp Dye Inks.

Frayed Leaf & Forest Glades
Splatter on a bit of Forest Glades Metallic Ink Spray to finish off the card. This is the benefit of Altenew’s color coordinated mediums!
Amazing Pastel Chic Roses
Kind Reminders Stamp Set
And just like that, we’re back to coloring! I did all these cards in one sitting since I had all the supplies out and ready to go. Although I love them all, this is my favorite card of the bunch.
I know coloring isn’t everyone’s thing, so I try to use a variety of techniques and coloring cheats in my posts to appeal to the masses. In this case, there is very minimal and basic coloring on the roses and the color that makes this card pop is on the background.
As you can see in the video, very little coloring skill is needed for this background. Simple scribble on Blush Artist Marker to fill the background once or twice for fuller coverage. Next, add shadows around the roses with Rouge Artist Marker, and blend out the edges with Blush. Easy Peasy.

As seen in the video, I added a bit of graphite shading around the roses to pop them off the page.
3D Poinsettia Pastel Perfection
Poinsettia 3D Die Set
Last but not least is the pastel perfection of this Poinsettia 3D Die Set. This die is incredible! What an absolute show stopper this one is!
Confession, my poinsettias are always pink and green. They’re my favorite and I cannot bring myself to create red ones. This color combo sneaks in every single time!
Artist Marker Color Combinations
Pink
Blush & Rouge
Green
Frayed Leaf
A tip for coloring is to add textured dots with the brush and bullet nibs. For extra dimension, simply bend the petals along the center vein. Is that gorgeous or what?!?
The sentiment is from Holiday Tag Sentiments Stamp Set. So many great sentiments!!
Altenew Festive Poinsettia
I mean come on, that’s a rock star color combination. Am I right?
No blog or video on this one, but you can check out details here.
More Festive Poinsettia
This pink & green Festive Poinsettia dates back to October 2018.
