Have Courage And Be Kind

My heart goes out to all who are affected by racial discrimination and inequality. At home, we discuss the recent devastating violence and injustice with our three young daughters. They struggle to understand such cruelty, as do I. This sentiment from Altenew Better Together Stamp Set echos our feelings perfectly.

Steel Die Assisted Watercolor

As for the card, first, I placed an Ellen Hutson Folk Hearts Die, blade up, on a piece of watercolor paper. Next, I filled the inside of the heart-shaped die with clean clear water.

Next, I removed the die and dropped in Red Cosmos and Coffee Break Altenew Artists Watercolor. Allow the colors to mix.

Allow the card to dry. Finally, I splattered with Altenew Jet Black Ink Spray and stamped the sentiment in Obsidian Pigment Ink.

We Are Better Together

The Altenew Better Together Stamp set has so many wonderfully supportive and encouraging sentiments. It is representative of their company culture and who they are as people. I am blessed to design for companies like Altenew that are diverse and inclusive of all people.

Masking with Stacking Dies

As you can see, these sentiments are so fitting. So, I couldn’t stop at just one so I included several on this simple masked card. First, I cut different size circles from masking paper with Hero Arts Circle Infinity Dies.

Next, I ink blended with the new Altenew Ink Blending Tool and five different shades of brown. Here I used, the four colors of Altenew Coffee Break Crisp Dye Ink family plus Vanilla Creme ink.
