Peacock Feather Leaves

The peacock feathers from the September 2019 kit are gorgeous and perfect for wispy leaves in a floral arrangement.

There aren’t any flowers in the September kit, so I grabbed a lovely Alex Syberia bloom from the August 2019 kit. I white heat embossed all the images on watercolor paper.

Easy Watercolor

To watercolor, simply use a loose wet on wet technique and drop in pigment. Dry the background and bloom and repeat several times to increase vibrancy and saturation. Today, I’ve used the Altenew 36 Pan Watercolor Set.

Finishing Touches

After stamping the included sentiment in black pigment ink, I felt I needed to add more black. I die-cut foliage from black cardstock and added Nuvo Crystal Drops.
