WOW! Taffeta Pink Stripes + Dainty Bouquet
The only thing better than wide diagonal stripes is pink glitter stripes! WOW! Taffeta Pink isn’t a new embossing powder, but it’s new to me and I adore it!
Taylored Expressions 1″ Stripes Set stencil helped create these perfect sparkly diagonals. For these diagonal stripes, I used the individual stripe stencil that comes in the set.
This stencil has handy-dandy guidelines on it to create perfectly spaced stripes. While I opted to use one color, its easy to create a rainbow or use 2-3 colors with the individual stripe stencil.
This soft pink background called for Altenew Delicate Bouquet Stamp & Die Bundle. This is a unique layering set, as the base layer for the leaves and rose are a single stamp.
That means your rose will have the same base color as your leaves. So choose wisely lest you end up with a muddy color.
I stamped the base layer with Altenew Mountain Mist and the two leaf layers with Volcano Lake and Lagoon Crisp Dye Inks. The rose was stamped with Coral Berry & Ruby Red Crisp Dye Inks.

Sea of Tranquility Stripes
This clean and simple card is the result of a mistake gone right. This time I used the 6×6 stripe stencil included in the set. As chance would have it, I neglected to ink it up well.
Rather than start over or emboss it a second time to create full-coverage, I embraced the mistake and knocked off a bit more of the powder with a brush. I love the distressed look of the stripes!
Check out the color blend on this gorgeous powder. There’s a few different teal colors, gold, and a charcoal gray. Love!
The embossed panel was trimmed with a rounded rectangle die and popped up. Altenew Hello & Hugs Stamp & Die Bundle provided the trendy sentiments.
