Tag’d You’re It

Often, I stamp & die cut extra flowers & small tags for projects. When I do, they go into a bowl on my desk, sometimes to be forgotten. Today, I was all about using my new Tag’d set from The Stamp Market & mixing it with some of those search & rescued extras.

I had these lovely Altenew Beautiful Heart flowers and leaves stamped from a prior project, I only needed to fussy cut them.

I started by die cutting 4 large tags from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb cardstock and 2 each of Royal Sundance Fiber Kraft and DCS Wild Blueberry Navy.

Next, I stamped the tag topper and striped bottom accent with Altenew Just Green & Pink Pearl Crisp Dye Inks onto 3 of the white tags. Don’t you just love that green?!

I trimmed the green tag topper and pink striped bottom off of 2 of the white tags & adhered it to the Kraft and Wild Blueberry tags.

Create custom cardstock with direct ink to paper technique

In order to create matching cardstock for the hole reinforcers I took ink pad to paper and then die cut the pieces.

Next I glued the reinforcers to the tags. I also stamped the Thanks sentiment from the Tag’d set onto small hang tags from Sizzix Tags & Words Dies with Stamps Set.

I threaded white hemp cord through the sentiment tag and large tag.

Finally, I popped up the flowers and leaves with foam adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed this project today and fell inspired to rescue some of your extras from their bin and repurpose them. Thanks so much for stopping by!
