Layer Stamping + Heat Embossing
Instead of traditional layer stamping, I heat embossed to add that extra something something. I used Altenew Welcome Home Stamp & Die Bundle along with WOW! Embossing Powders in the colors Metalline Kiwi Krush, Jealous Guy, and Angel Eyes.
Metalline powders are true color-shifters. Kiwi Krush is green from the front and gold from a side view. The other two powders are opaque powders with a semi-gloss finish.
The finish of all three powders coordinates beautifully with Stardream Metallic Lagoon cardstock. I backed the Stardream Metallic welcome die-cut with Curious Metallic Peacock cardstock for a touch more contrast.
I matted the heat embossed element with Stardream Metallic cardstock to set it apart from the white card front. The sub-sentiments are from the Welcome Home stamp set.
To finish off the card, I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Merry Confetti Mix.
That’s all for today guys. I hope you enjoyed this spring project featuring Stardream Metallic cardstock, layer stamps, and heat embossing! Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you soon with more inspiration!
