For The Guys

Masculine cards can occasionally give me creators block, especially since I love, love, love, floral stamps. After completing Jennifer Rzasa’s class, For the Guys at AltenewAcademy.com, I felt particularly inspired.

Her husband co-taught a lesson with her that was so enjoyable. It’s always fun to get a glimpse into the real life of a favorite artist.

Masculine card with Altenew Golden Feather Stamp Set

Jennifer’s gaming card had a white and grey palette which inspired me today. I started by choosing a palette of Soft Navy Simon Says Stamp dye ink, WOW! Pale Rich Gold embossing powder, and Fog Grey cardstock and then I chose stamps and dies.

Altenew’s Golden Feather Stamp & Die set took center stage today along with Circled Sentiments Stamp & Die Bundle. A postage stamp die was used to create the white frame. Accents were heat embossed with WOW! Rich Pale Gold embossing powder and the card embellished with clear sequins.
