Easy Repeat Heat Embossing Technique

WOW! Hearts & Twine Repeat Stamping
Create a simple heat embossed repeat heart border with the WOW! Hearts & Twine Stamp Set. Perfect alignment is easy with a stamp position or MISTI.
First, I stamped the heart to the left of the sentiment with WOW! Embossing Ink and heat embossed with Montserrat embossing powder from the WOW! Caribbean Charm Trio. I left the stamp in my MISTI.
Then I moved the card panel up and down in 1 inch increments to stamp each additional heart. I alternated colors from the Caribbean Charm Trio, including Montserrat, Dominica, and Bahama.
A sentiment from WOW! Hello Lovely Stamp Set, stamped with Altenew Cloudy Sky Crisp Dye Ink finished off the card.
Take a closer look at that gorgeous glitter and the ultra high chunky white granules. Love it!
Follow Your Heart
As you can see, there are only a few granules of ultra-high in the hearts above. In order to take full advantage of those white ultra-high granules I heat embossed a die-cut heart with Bahama embossing powder.
Large die-cuts give you more surface area to sprinkle on the ultra-high. In contrast, the delicate arrows which are heat embossed with Dominica embossing powder, don’t highlight the large chunky granules as well.
But, that just goes to show you can use these powders with both delicate stamps and large solid stamps and die-cuts. They’re quite versatile!
